Ministry Residency

At Covenant City, one way we participate in God’s mission is by coming together as a church family to raise up more men and women for gospel ministry (Ephesians 4:12). Our Ministry Residency and Associate Programs are two ways we live out this calling as a community.

Our Ministry Residency is a 1 year program for individuals discerning a calling to lay or vocational ministry. Residents are fully immersed in the rhythms of our staff team and spend time with pastors and ministry directors from our family of churches. They are assigned a Ministry Mentor to help them process what they have been learning.

The commitment is an average of 8-10 hours per week and is designed to accompany and complement work or school. This is an unpaid residency. However, ministry expenses such as books and resources will be covered. 

The Ministry Residency runs from September to April. Applications are open year-round, and more information can be found here.

Ministry Associates

The Ministry Associate Program complements our Ministry Residency by providing pathways for individuals to be equipped for vocational ministry.

Ministry Associates are given ministry responsibilities and provided opportunities to discern and grow in their giftings. The Lead Pastor walks with them to process their reflections and cultivate healthy rhythms for vocational ministry.

Ministry Associate positions are based on the needs of the church, and will be posted on our careers page.
